What is Danolyte?
Danolyte is an EPA-registered (Reg. No. 91582-1), hospital-grade hypochlorous acid (HOCl) disinfectant made from salt, water and electricity. It cleans, deodorizes, sanitizes and disinfects in one step, straight from the bottle. It contains no fragrance, dyes, alcohol, phenols or VOCs, breaks down into saline solution after it works, and is made by a family business in Overland Park, Kansas, that has built its own HOCl generators since 2015.

What is Danolyte made of?
Danolyte's active ingredient is hypochlorous acid (HOCl), derived from naturally occurring salt minerals and water. We make it by running salt water through the electrolytic cells of our own generators, at a near-neutral pH of 6.5.
Is Danolyte EPA-registered?
Yes. Danolyte Disinfectant is registered with the EPA under Reg. No. 91582-1, made at EPA Est. No. 91582-KS-1. It's a hospital-grade and veterinarian-grade disinfectant.
Where can I use Danolyte?
On hard, non-porous surfaces almost everywhere: kitchens, bathrooms, nurseries, toys, cars, offices, schools, gyms, pet areas and more. The Danolyte Disinfectant Label Guide lists every use.
Does Danolyte have a smell?
It has no added fragrance. The label describes it as low odor: the smell of clean. Because it kills the bacteria that cause odors, it removes smells instead of covering them up.
